Gorgeous nickel-plated brass clawfoot tub tower drain assembly with faucets, shutoff valves and standing waste tube. My Father came back from a meeting in Washington, D.C. in the fall of 1951 on the Southerner, a passenger train operating between New Orleans and Washington, packing this in his suitcase. He told me it came from the White House. The White House was completely gutted during the Truman administration, and they did sell off building material.

I can't find and maker's markings on it, but it looks like a Crane tub spout he also returned with. My Dad never mounted it, and neither have I. There are scratches, scuffs on the nickel plating, with some minor tool marks around the nuts which have all cleaned up to a nice shine.  Has nice porcelain valve handles marked Hot and Cold. The porcelain is complete without any cracks. It is untested as it has been unused in ~70+ years. The valves are free as is the waste tower. the moving parts appear to function as they should. The spout is an “elephant trunk” style spout. Overall, very good, salvage condition. I would rate it 7+ on a 10 scale, the nickel is extremely presentable and would look lovely as-is.
