Sottsass was an important Italian 20th-century architect and designer of products. He designed mainly in the style of "anti-design", which he strongly influenced and which made him internationally known and successful. This is a beautiful example of a finely crafted machine, carefully restored and brought back to its factory luster, this typewriter will enhance any writer's desk. Olivetti typewriters are considered the Ferrari of typewriters, this machine made in Barcelona, Spain in 1971. It is off-white and teal colored, gorgeous and in perfect working condition and ready to type! Cosmetically, I'd rate it about 9 on a 10 scale.
